Junto com La Shawn Shellman, Chonita Coleman e Radiah Scott, Missy Elliott formou um grupo de R&B, onde Timbaland era o seu produtor, ou seja, tudo que Missy é hoje, seja em relação de amizades, quanto a relação musical se deve ao seu primeiro grupo.
Fazendo demos, Missy conseguiu chamar a atenção de produtores, e posteriormente tornando-se cantora da Elektra.

Together with La Shawn Shellman, Chonita Coleman e Radiah Scott, Missy sang some music, and made some demos for labels. With Sista, she had the opurtunity to know Timbaland, and after they become close friends, he made many songs for them.
